How much weight can the dresser support? Can it hold a TV?

The Alton Cherry Dresser top can support up to 100 lbs. We don't recommend using this as a TV stand.

Felt lining?

Is there any way to get this without the felt lining or to remove it? Is the lining thick?

Umber Color

Is the color 'Umber' close to a walnut finish? Not very many photos and it looks VERY dark. Thank you

It is more in line with the Scandinavian color "wenge" which is a dark brown finish...not quite black, but very dark.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from good design and price problematic quality control Fell in love the midcentury look and this item was good for the price as something similar was 2x+ the price. However, I think Living Spaces or their manufacturers have bad quality control as each dresser delivered to me had damages (1st one: chip in corner and marks on side, 2nd one: scratches 3rd one: the back was completeness messed up and one of the handles was slanted downwards, 4th one: was fine with a small scratch and some weird dirt stickiness but I just gave up and kept this one since the scratch was small and the stickiness can probably be wiped off). When the item was delivered (I selected the delivery that would put the item in whatever room I choose), it was not wrapped in a box but instead was covered in a blanket. The 4th one was the charm (albeit still had issues), so just a warning: this is great design and price, but try your luck with getting a non damaged dresser.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great dresser drawer for a good price. This thing looks great. Appears much more expensive than the price I paid for it. It's not overly big and I like that about it. I will say to be careful with it. One of kid's hit it while playing VR and that left a mark. A little softer wood. Other than that, I am very happy with it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great if undamaged Took 2 tries to get one where there was no damage and the drawers closed correctly. Seems like the same exact line that they sell at West Elm. Would highly recommend the in home delivery where they remove packaging for you because it comes pre-built and you can refuse delivery if there are any defects vs. having to go through the whole replacement process
